Jarob was hired in August 2016 to his dream job, large format photographer for the National Park Service’s Heritage Documentation Services. The job was billed by some as the “Ansel Adams” job since its duties were similar to those that the legendary Adams performed under a contract with the Department of Interior.

Jarob is a graduate of the photography Program at the Milwaukee Area Technical College. It was there that he was introduced to the wonders of large format photography and the ability to control his vision through the understanding and implementation of Adams’ zone system approach to photography. After graduating from the MATC Photography Program, Jarob worked on a number of projects throughout the midwest utilizing the invaluable knowledge he gained through the MATC photography program while continuing to evolve his approach to the art.
