Visit the Georgetown waterfront in June to see the stunning images of Swedish photographer Helene Schmitz lighting up the House of Sweden’s glass facade every night during the month. The projection of Schmitz’s images, which are also on display in her “Dreamland” exhibit inside the House of Sweden, is best viewed after 9 p.m.

For the past decade, Schmitz’s work has been concerned with the human and technological impact on the natural world. In the exhibition Dreamland, Schmitz’s photographs bear witness to the ongoing transformation of living ecosystems, which humankind has turned into abstractions and economical values.
