We’re looking for a few talented volunteers to help us pull off #FOTS20

Planning is underway for Focus on the Story 2020, with our third annual visual storytelling summit scheduled for May 28 – 31 in Washington, DC. To pull it off, we’re going to need a lot of help. Do you have a  very particular set of skills, skills that you may have acquired over a very long (or short) career? We’re looking for volunteers and interns to help immediately in everything from blogging and social media to marketing and fundraising.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports and encourages visual storytellers of diverse backgrounds in bringing attention to critical issues, bridging cultural gaps, and sparking social change. For the past two years, we’ve put on the Focus on the Story International Photo Festival, bringing dozens of the best photographers in the world to DC to present visual storytelling that’s making a difference.

It’s a huge undertaking and we need all the help we can get in planning and promoting next year’s event.

If you’d like to be part of something very special that we’ve been building, drop us a line at info@focusonthestory.org and let’s chat.
